Mark Ashdown
Director/Licensee, Merit Finance Solutions Pty Ltd
Mark began his career in banking and finance in 1988 with Town & Country Building Society. He has worked in various commercial property funding roles within the industry, with his last appointment as a Director with AFG Commercial Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of AFG Ltd.
In 2003 Mark established his own mortgage broking business which he successfully built up over a period of 6 years, before merging with 3D Mortgage Solutions in January 2009. During this time, Mark has gained extensive experience in all areas of lending (specialising in commercial funding and being named “WA’s No. 1 Commercial Loan Writer of 2006” with the AFG Group). He has built strong relationships with his client-base and prides himself when assisting his clients to achieve their personal and finance goals. The amount of repeat and referral business he receives is testament to the success of this philosophy.
Mark is a fully licensed finance broker (FBL 1282), a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA – Full Member) and Credit Ombudsman Services Ltd (COSL). He also attends regular product and industry update sessions to ensure the services he offers to his clients are always up-to-date and of the highest quality.

Grant Moreschini
Senior Finance Manager, Merit Finance Solutions Pty Ltd
Grant began his career in banking and finance in 1988 with National Australia Bank. He worked in various roles within the bank with his last appointment as a Mobile Mortgage Manager.
In 2002, Grant established his own mortgage broking business which he successfully built up over a period of 6 years before merging with Merit Finance Solutions. During this time, he has gained extensive experience in all areas of lending and built strong relationships with his client-base, specialising in assisting his clients to achieve their personal and investment goals. This change enables Grant to offer a wide range of products. The amount of repeat and referral business Grant receives is testament to the success of this change.

Nicola Wells
Executive Assistant, Merit Finance Solutions Pty Ltd
Before joining the team at Merit in July 2007, Nicola worked within the superannuation industry as a Personal Assistant for Prudential Corporation Australia and also in property finance for over 7 years (whilst employed with Security Capital Corporation and International Financing & Investments). In addition, she has achieved her “Certificate IV in Financial Services” qualification, further highlighting her commitment to the industry and continued professional development.
Nicola believes that no matter what industry you work for and what job you do, everyone has different needs and sometimes it requires a lateral approach tailored to the individual, while in the end always ensuring the most beneficial solution.
